Privacy Policy
Pulsera EDGE Version 1.0. Effective July 27, 2026.
Pulsera Talent Group, LLC ("Pulsera", "we", "us") provides EDGE, an operations platform for in-home care agencies. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and what we do to protect it. It covers pulseraedge.com and the EDGE application.
1. Two different roles, and why the difference matters to you
We handle personal information in two distinct capacities, and your rights differ depending on which applies.
Information about you as a visitor or prospective customer. When you request a demo or contact us, we decide how that information is used. We are the controller of it.
Information an agency puts into EDGE about its own workforce. When a customer agency loads candidate and employee records into EDGE, that agency decides what is collected and why. We hold and process it on that agency's instructions, as its service provider. We do not use it for our own purposes, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.
If you are a candidate or employee of an agency that uses EDGE and you want your record corrected or removed, contact that agency. They control it. We will support them in responding to you.
2. What we collect
From visitors and prospective customers. The demo request form collects your name, your agency's name, your work email address, and an optional free-text note. The note field is automatically scanned and redacted for anything that looks like a Social Security number or a payment card number before it is stored, because that is not information we want or need from a sales enquiry.
From account holders. Your name, email address, a hashed password, the organization you belong to, your role and permissions, and session records needed to keep you signed in.
Automatically. Our web servers keep standard request logs, which include IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser user-agent. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
Workforce records loaded by a customer agency. This is the substance of the platform. Depending on how the agency configures it, records may include a candidate's or employee's name and contact details, position and employment status, and credential records such as licenses, certifications, background and registry checks, work authorization, and training. Credential records include issuing details, expiry dates, and whether a person has verified the credential against the issuing authority. Supporting documents uploaded as evidence of a credential are stored with the record.
Two categories inside that deserve to be named plainly rather than buried:
- Government identifiers and financial details. An agency can configure intake forms that collect items such as Social Security numbers or bank details for payroll setup. Where those fields exist, the values are encrypted. - Health-related items submitted for employment, such as a TB test result, an immunization record, or a fitness-for-duty physical. These are employment records, not patient records.
3. What EDGE is not for
EDGE holds records about an agency's workforce. It is not a clinical system. It has no patient charts, no visit or diagnosis records, and no connection to any electronic health record. Customers are contractually required not to upload patient information to it.
Because the health-related items EDGE holds are employment records rather than patient treatment records, they sit outside the HIPAA Privacy Rule. We do not act as a HIPAA business associate and we do not offer a business associate agreement. We still treat this information as sensitive and protect it accordingly, and state law duties around identifiers such as Social Security numbers apply regardless.
4. How we use information
- To provide, secure, and support the platform. - To respond to demo requests and sales enquiries. - To send transactional messages such as invitations, password resets, and onboarding notices. Our notification emails carry a name, an organization, and a secure link, and deliberately do not carry personal details in the body. - To bill customers and keep the records a business must keep. - To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse and security incidents. - To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use customer workforce data to develop or train machine learning models.
EDGE includes one optional AI feature: a writer that drafts a job description from the job details you enter. It receives the job details only. It does not receive employee or candidate records, and nothing about a person is sent to it. See section 6.
5. Cookies
EDGE uses strictly necessary cookies only. They keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We run no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers on our website or in the application. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing collecting you.
6. Who else touches the data
We keep the list of vendors short on purpose. Personal information is disclosed only to:
- A United States hosting provider, which operates the servers the platform runs on. We will name it on request. - Postmark, which delivers our transactional email. - An AI text-generation provider, used for one narrow feature: drafting a job description from the job details you type in. What is sent is the job title, department, location, employment type, and requirements. No employee record, no candidate record, and no personal information is sent to it. If you do not use the job-description writer, nothing of yours reaches it. - Stripe, which processes customer billing. Payment card details are entered with Stripe and are never stored on our systems. - Professional advisors, and authorities where the law requires it.
We require each of them to protect the information and to use it only to provide their service to us. We do not disclose customer workforce data to anyone else without the customer's instruction.
7. Where data is held
In the United States. We do not currently transfer personal information outside the United States.
8. Security
- In transit, everything is encrypted with TLS, and the site is HTTPS-only. - At rest, sensitive fields and uploaded credential documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with keys held separately from the database. - Access is role-based and scoped to a single organization. Members of one agency cannot see another agency's records. - Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. We cannot read yours. - Administrative access by our staff is limited to those who need it to operate and support the service.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will notify affected customers and individuals, and the relevant authorities, within the time limits the applicable state law sets.
9. Keeping and deleting information
We keep customer workforce records for as long as the customer's account is active, because credential history is exactly the record an agency has to be able to produce at a survey.
When an agreement ends, the customer may request a copy of their organization's data, and we will provide it. After that, we delete the organization's data within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
Demo requests and sales enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Server logs are kept for a rolling short period for security purposes.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to appeal a refusal. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on those grounds.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
If your information is in EDGE because your employer put it there, start with your employer, since they decide what is held. If you contact us instead, we will refer the request to them and support their response.
11. Children
EDGE is a workplace tool sold to businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the version and effective date at the top. For a change that materially affects how we handle personal information, we will notify account holders before it takes effect.
